Tales from the Blighted Border: MC+PGPS Spring Break Camp (April 3-7)

No one still living recalls what happened to Wermode, nothing of that place has survived but the name. All that is it has become cursed and blighted. Nothing and no one dwells within, and it’s said that even ghosts cannot endure it. It holds no treasure, no great power, seemingly nothing beyond the promise of an early demise. Brave adventurers have tried to explore it, mighty spellcasters have tried to use it, powerful holy people have tried to cleanse it, but their efforts were futile. The surrounding peoples have done their best to ignore it, and that approach has worked for almost a thousand years. But now something is changing.

Somehow, someway, the curse that took Wermode is seeping out, changing people, creatures, plants, and even the land as well. Wermode cannot be fixed, but nor can its contamination be allowed to spread. As new problems appear almost daily and the local responses are stretched thin, the nearby realms have put out a call for adventurers to come and battle the corruption back beyond the blighted border and into Wermode where it belongs.

Explore the varied lands around Wermode and see how the leaking corruption is affecting them, and how it can be turned back.
